Where’s the best place to meet men?

The best place to meet men right now is the dog park. Whether you have a dog, a friend has a dog, or you borrow a dog, it doesn’t matter. It’s a common ground for people and it’s easy to approach someone when they have an animal. If you take them for a walk somewhere close by to you that’s animal friendly or the dog park, you’ll have an easy way to talk to people.

Where is the worst place to meet men?

It’s funny, but several people have suggested to me that it is a good idea to go to a twelve step meeting to meet people, especially in Hollywood. There are a lot of celebrities. I really don’t think that’s the place where you want to meet someone.

What do men find attractive?

Clearly you never get a second chance to make a first impression. It’s an old cliché but it’s true. You need to feel good about what you’re wearing and go out there! The most important thing is confidence. The most attractive thing about a woman is her confidence and how she carries herself. So do whatever you need to do to make yourself feel good about you when you go out there. Wear something that feels good and stay up on current events! Everything is accessible online; anything you want to know you can find out. Read up, talk to friends, talk to people, ask a lot of questions and when you’re out there you’ll feel a lot more comfortable. And that’s sexy.

How important is a woman’s personality to a man?

When I’m interviewing a client about what he’s looking for in a woman, he often feels obligated to start with things like great personality and funny and interesting. But when I call out on a match, generally the first thing they want to know is, “What does she look like?” If I get past that, they generally don’t want to know any more and they’re ready to go on the date. So looks are extremely important; it’s the first thing they see. Personality will keep them, but make sure you look great when you’re out there. I’m not saying you have to be a supermodel to get a date, but play up your assets. If you have nice eyes, go to the make-up counter and try a new look. But the big thing is, confidence and personality is really attractive. Be who you are. Be strong in who you are.
