Friday Shows Highlight- How To Look Good Naked & Matched In Manhattan

On this weeks How To Look Good Naked, we watched Marlo a lady who has battled with weight gain from Hypothyroidism and Hodgkins Lymphoma go on her journey to self discovery. On the show they do a line up of women of all sizes and asked Marlo to place herself according to where she thinks her body fits in. She placed herself in a position that added 3 inches to her body. It just goes to show you how many of us everyday women have skewed perceptions of our bodies. Partly because we’re looking at magazines, tv, etc…all of which do not show people for who they really are. After the body line up Carson shows her that people on the street see nothing wrong with her body, when they place a picture of her body in the busy streets of Santa Monica. Next Carson and Marlo hit up the sexy lingerie, my goodness ladies we have to stop wearing the wrong bra size. In order to look good with clothes on, you have to have a proper foundation and look good with clothes off. After a bit of clothes shopping it’s time for Marlo to hit the dance floor with her new found confidence, and she is one hot mama. Next is preparation for her photoshoot and she looked foxy, they helped her with her skin and hair which were both effected from Hodgkins Lymphoma. She glowed in jewels as she did her nude photo shoot. And once they polled the streets it was wonderful to see someone truly see their own beauty inside out.  

 

Matched In Manhattan is a great show where Matt Titus, a professional matchmaker in Manhattan, helps women understand where they go wrong in the dating world. Tonight he helps Abiola a 31 year old woman who needs dating tips and a male perspective on dating. The first thing Matt does is crash Abiola and friends girl talk party in hopes of giving them insight. And boy does he share;

Matt takes Abiola on mock dates and introduces her to the several types of men that exist in Manhattan; Mr Ego, Mr. Smooth, Mr. Negative…which tests how she would react in contact with these types of men.

Next Matt and Tamson go on the man hunt in hopes of finding the perfect match for Abiola. In the end their hunt was successful.

They find a man named Anthony, on Anthony and Abiola’s date things did start of rocky in the beginning, however in the end they both seemed to hit it off really well. A match well made, and now Abiola is open to trying out the dating scene.

Also we learn about Linda a woman 35 who is just a little too attached to her dog, lol…and even brings the dog on dates. Matt sets Linda up with a new guy and although she did not bring Belle Belle on her date, she did not miss a beat on telling her date about her. Not looking good…we’ll see what happens with her in the future.
