Julia Thomas- Learning about The Author Of "Never Say Never"

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review your book I know that this is your baby and debut as an author to the world. I know that my readers will definitely enjoy this novel and learn so much from it. So now it’s time to get to know a little bit about the woman behind “Never Say Never”

Da Vinci: What inspired you to become a writer?

Julia Thomas: I can’t say for sure. I’ve started writing a year or two before high school as a way to express my feeling. I started writing again because I wanted to leave a special momentum to my daughters, sisters and girlfriends. I also wanted my daughter to see that there was more to me than just being their mom!
Being mom is great but I wanted them to know that they could have family and full life that support there dreams or hobbies.
And what was your inspiration for “Never Say Never?”
I learned a very important lesson; it can be a good thing to change your mind and it’s not a good thing to hold unto “Nevers” rules that cause you to miss out on life.

Da Vinci: I have to ask why did you choose to write the book through narrations?

Julia Thomas: I wanted their issues to personal and a close friend would know the details and be able to retail the story and add there personal thoughts. In the beginning of the book they tell you that they’ve agree to share there lives and they do that by letting there friends share their heartache and struggles.

Da Vinci: Where the characters based on reality?

Julia Thomas: No, I made them all up!

Da Vinci: Which character do you relate to the most? And which one would you like to be more like?

Julia Thomas: I never went through any of those issues and I don’t have any friends that did. I did let their character speak for me. I care about education, health care and find ways to help people live there best life. I love art and music.
I think I would most like to be like LaNae’s because of career.

Da Vinci: Besides never say never what else would you like readers to learn or take from this novel?

Julia Thomas: You can and will miss out on blessings because on yours closed mind or someone else lack of vision or fear of the unknown. Also, bad things can and will happen in life, but you can recover and move on.

Da Vinci: Are you currently working on anything new? If so can we get a preview of what to look forward to? Lol

Julia Thomas: I working on my next book “The Black Man That Could Fly”

Da Vinci: So what do your fans need to know about you? Or what is something you want them to know?

Julia Thomas: I could not have done this project with out God. He walked my through this from the beginning until the end. Second, I want my readers to know the lessons in the book are lessons that I’m learning. Third, if you have a dream, walk toward it and it will meet you half way.
