Wedding, weddings and more weddings, as I’ve mentioned before this tis the season to get married. So much time is spent planning the big day but many times people forget that marriage is the about the unification of 2 lives, ways of thinking, and the foundation for an eventual family. Falling in love and getting yourself to the point of marriage is the easy part, the hard part really come along when you have to maintain the momentum of a flourishing and happy relationship. People always wait till they’re almost rock bottom, and all communication between them has ceased, before they get help. In my belief relationships take work continuously, using a marriage therapist blog or relationship coach is a great way have a third party help you get back to the basic. They can help you and your partner find the true sources of your arguments or even teach you how to argue fairly and wisely. Studies do show that the average married couple does wait six to seven years through marital problems before they decide to take action and receive some counseling. Six years is a long time to have a grudge on somebody you love and have vowed to spend the rest of your life with. The rate of divorce is alarming and rising daily we have to choose to be more proactive in working through marital problems. So that we can have happier marriages and set good examples for the youth of tomorrow. So don’t go into marriage lightly and only excited about the wedding, be prepared to really be there for each other and take the necessary steps to make your marriage work.
