The 80’s was a fabulous time for teen movies, I’m so much of a hopeless romantic that I love the whole girl gets guy and vice versa. I mean you had to be living under a rock if you didn’t love John Cusack or Molly Ringwald. Some of my 80’s favorites would have to be Better off dead, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, and definitely Teen Witch. But there were also classic dance movies like Breakin’ that inspired a new generation of bboys and bgirls and then there was Back To The Future which made us all believe that one day time travel would be possible. The best part about the 80’s movies was that they were all in just good fun. Another classic that is being honored for it’s 25 year anniversary is WarGames. And what’s cool is on July 24th it will be playing at theaters nationwide. The screening is only for one night but will include lots of unseen footage and even a peek at the making of the sequel WarGames:The Dead Code. So grab some friends and plan a night for reminiscing and some good old 80’s fun.
