On the season finale of The Baby Borrowers the teens learn what it’s like to take care of the elderly as we all will at some point have to take care of our parents.  They learned that just because these were adults it didn’t mean that some of them weren’t in fragile states and would not have to be cared for.  The young couples dressed, bathed, etc some of the seniors…and later some learned about how healthy and fit you can become if you live a healthy lifestyle.   It was important for them to be able to live with the elderly because there is wisdom that they can offer us that is priceless.   They saw the successes of marriages and relationships that have lasted 40yrs plus…and were able to ask how the secrets behind that.  I think it was great for the teens because they definitely matured even more seeing that there is no rush in life they have so many years ahead of them to have kids, get married, and so much more.  I personally found a sense of inspiration from listening to these living sources of knowledge and wisdom.   As their journeys come to an end the their senior guests leave and the couples are left alone together with their thoughts and self reflections, some lonelier than others.  These teens have also found some new friends, found part of themselves, and learned an appreciation for their parents and life.

After the experiment all the teens parted ways as boyfriend and girlfriend but most still remain friends even Daton and Morgan.  The teens have definitely learned so much and you can see that they all wanted to better their lives as they went on to further their education in various fields Doctors, Pilots, Make-up artists and more….all…

Tonight’s episode starts on a saturday where all the couples have their days off and Morgan and Daton are heavily on the rocks.  While out the teenagers arrive ranging from 13-16…sounds like fun.   Alicea and Cory definitely have their hands full with 13 yr old Sam. Kelsey and Sean have 14yr old Renee.  Morgan and Daton are arguing like crazy and making 15yr old Eddie uncomfortable, meanwhile Daton decides to leave.  Kelsey, Sean, and Morgan take their teens on a tour of downtown Boise…while Kelly, Austin, Sasha and Jordan took their teens David and Snowy to the historic Boise museum, Cory and Alicea got to take Sam on a rafting trip.  Breakups are hitting the cul de sac after Morgan and Daton’s breakup it seems Kelly has found her voice and easy way out and decides to lash out on Austin.  Later that  night the teen boys sneak out and go on a t.p. rampage…which brings out the parent in Morgan, Jordan, and Kelly.  Morgan finally makes amends with her mom and calls her in a time of need…I commend her for staying and sticking through the process.  Kelly and Austin’s relationship has hit rock bottom and is making David reminisce about his parent divorce,  in time Kelly apologizes for her actions but has left uncertainty in Austin’s mind. The couples go back to work and Morgan is solo as a single parent, so she goes to work to provide for her family and she leaves Eddie home to clean up the house.  Sean, Sasha, Alicea, Morgan, and Kelly went to work while the others were home with the teens.  Soon after the parents return to pick up their teens and evaluations begin,  Alicea and Cody started off and they obviously stuck a nerve with Sam’s mother who is…

This weeks episode starts off with Jordan and Sasha still being hysterical and we weren’t quite sure if she was going to leave, luckily they went over to their neighbors house and all the teens gathered around gave each other support.  The next day the Preteens arrive with their pets, lol.  Kelly and Austin get 3 kids 6,7 and 10 accompanied with a snake, rat, lizard and hermit crabs.  Jordan and Sasha get a 9 yr old girl with her two dogs.  Cory and Alicea get 2 girls,  Shawn and Kelsey get 2 vegetarian boys 9 and 11 with their parakeets and  Morgan and Daton get an 10 yr old boy with his 2 full grown golden retrievers.  On day one half of the duo goes to work and then things get crazy for Kelly.  Morgan is doing very well with her “son” and she takes him to do some rock climbing.  Alicea take the ignoring approach towards one of the girls and their parent is forced to “intervene”…boy she got a bratty one, lol.  Jordan was working very well Sara and he kept her busy doing some math problems and playing.  Kelsey and Sean have a few issues with eating healthy. Morgan and Daton continue to have relationship trouble.  Meanwhile most of the women decide to go to work the next day except from Sasha and Morgan.  Poor Cory is greeted with a wonderful note letting him know that him and Alicea are going to be hosting a slumber party for all the neighborhood kids at 7pm, meanwhile Hannah has now looked Cory outside of the house and he does well with the discipline.  I feel bad for Alicea having to come home to the surprise slumber party.  All the other teen couples got a surprise visit from a…

Alecia and Cory get a new baby and hopefully they do better this time.  Immediately after the parents left Sasha and Jordan’s baby has started crying, lol…but Sasha was very patient and was able to lull him to sleep. Morgan and Daton were blessed with two toddlers and one of the kids has a birthday so all the families get together for a birthday celebration.  Kelly and Austin also have a set of toddlers twins and it’s not looking like things will be so easy this time around, especially since Kelly wants to go work this time around.  Kelly, Daton, Sasha, Cory are now the new wave of workers while Austin and Morgan are home with twins and Jordan and Alecia are home with their toddlers.  Kelsey and her toddler found common ground and she was able to help potty train him.  This week was great for me because I think the learning experience is really being reiterated for these couples and I was glad to see that there was a level of difficulty.  I can see that more and more minds are being changed on having children. Can’t wait till next week.

Week 2 the teens get more responsibilities, lol.  One starts work today and the other becomes a stay at home parent.  Alecia is still not helping with the baby after her run in with the mother, so she has decided to go to work.  Kelsey is all of a sudden “sick” which forces Sean to stay home on his first day of work, further proving his point, lol.  Austin will work at a pet store, Jordan at a veteranarian’s office, Daton Coffee Shop, Alecia at a Lumber yard.  Kelsey seems to be already having a breakdown and is in need of a good pep talk…but it was good to hear that some sense has been knocked into her.  Although Kelly was off to a rough start she has an amazingly good raporte with baby Zachary.  Since Kelly is doing so well she offers Cory a bit of support when they take the kids to the park Cory experiences his first diaper change, lol.  Cory and Alecia seem to be really getting a taste of reality, which is fabulous. Daton and Morgan seem to be finding a it hard to communicate but are remaining civil and doing well with the baby.  After this experience I imagine some couples may break up.  Alecia is completely selfish today she’s decided to stay at home because she didn’t want to go to work.  Kelsey is has decided to be the bread winner and find a job, which seems to work out for her.  While the workers go to work, they stay at homers go to baby gym to help the babies exercise and learn how to crawl or walk.  On day 3 the couples get a surprise visit from their mother’s for 3 hours. While some were delighted to see a familiar face; Alecia’s…
